This policy describes what this website collects. It is short because the site collects very little.
What this site collects
This website has no accounts, no logins and no user profiles. It sets no cookies, and it runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It loads no fonts, scripts, stylesheets or images from any other company, so no third party observes your visit.
This site is a set of static files served from Amazon Web Services. PhAST has not enabled access logging on either the storage or the content delivery network, so we do not collect or keep a record of your visit—not the pages you requested, not the time, and not your IP address.
Amazon receives your request in order to deliver the page to you, as any host must, and handles it as our infrastructure provider under its own terms. If we ever enable access logging, this policy will say so and will state how long those logs are kept.
The contact form
The contact form on this site does not send anything to us over the web. It checks that the required fields are filled in, then opens a new message in your own email program with the details already written into it. Nothing leaves your computer until you send that message yourself, and no form data is stored on this website.
When you do send it, the message reaches us as ordinary email and is handled like any other correspondence. We keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and to meet our record-keeping obligations as a medical device company.
Reports about our products
If you contact us about the performance or safety of a PhAST product, we may be required to record what you tell us and to report it to a regulator, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Those obligations apply to us as a device manufacturer and we cannot set them aside at your request. Please do not send us patient identifiers: we do not need them, and we do not want to receive them.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to documents and websites we do not control, including the FDA clearance record for our panel. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in substance, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
